Overcome the Driver problems
Maybe we often experience trouble of computer hardware (like a sound Driver? and etc). actually, Microsoft Windows XP is supports more hardware accessories generally referred to as devices, including digital cameras, printers and network adapters, that extend what your computer can do. To provide this level of flexibility, Windows XP uses software called a device driver to communicate with the hardware that connect to your computer.
you know that every hardware device you connect to your computer its has own device driver (you can download driver in internet). Over time, the manufacturer may update the driver (Find : Driver Update) for your device to improve its performance, to improve security, or to correct a problem.
if you not use the driver, maybe you still can connect and use hardware accessories without a problem. Occasionally, however, you might encounter a problem when installing a new piece of hardware, or you might develop a problem after using an accessory that previously worked correctly.
If your hardware have a problem, maybe you must check it out, what the problem can be caused either by the hardware or by the device driver . actually, device drivers can be easily upgraded to a newer version, rolled back to an older version, or reinstalled. so, troubleshooting hardware problems maybe caused by troubleshooting device drivers. Read the following questions To identify a device driver problem (as quoted from Microsoft) :
- Did you recently upgrade the device/Windows driver or other software related to your hardware computer? If it true, roll back the device driver to the previous version.
- Are you experiencing occasional problems, or is your hardware not compatible with your version of Windows? If so, you should to upgrade the device driver.
- Did your hardware suddenly stop working? If so, upgrade the device driver. If that does not solve your problem, reinstall the device driver. If the problem continues, try troubleshooting your hardware problem.
